Meet Carol Brendler
Never one to shy away from the wet and wiggly, Carol Brendler loves earthworms just as much as her character Winnie Finn does. As Winnie herself knows, a successful garden crop all begins with worms. Ms. Brendler holds a Master’s Degree in Writing for Children and Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. When she isn’t tending to her own basement vermiculture setup, Carol writes, plays the ukulele, and knits in her home in Arlington Heights, Illinois, where she lives with her husband and three unruly cats.
