Gaining STEAM: Heroes Abound
It’s not difficult for children to spot fictional superheroes; they’re highly visible on television and in the movies. With a bit of guidance and exploration, however, children can start to see that heroes are in fact all around: in books, in history, and even, perhaps, within themselves. This month’s activities will encourage children to think about what it means to be a hero.
